The Moment Everything Changed

I relocated to Los Angeles and kept noticing
the same thing.

Women with full hips and a defined waist
couldn't find trousers that fit. Not really.
They were sizing up to fit their hips and
drowning at the waist. Or sizing down for
the waist and couldn't get them on.

It wasn't a shopping problem.
It was a pattern problem.

Nobody had fixed it.
So I decided to.

The Birth of ICYMI

I spent six months studying why trousers
fail curvy bodies.

The answer was simple and maddening.
Every trouser pattern in existence is
drafted for a 10-inch hip-to-waist
differential. The average curvy woman
has 12 to 14 inches. The math was never
going to work.

So I engineered around it.

A curved waistband that follows the body
instead of fighting it. TENCEL lyocell
fabric chosen for its drape, its breathability,
and its structure. Wide leg cut that gives
the hips room without sacrificing the waist.

Tons of samples later — it fits.
